  • 1 – Red Cabbage
  • 250g – Dark Brown Sugar
  • 100ml – Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 – Star Anise
  • 1 – Cinnamon Stick

Christmas Side Dishes - Braised Red Cabbage

This is the most warming and gently spiced delight of all of the Christmas side dishes; Braised red cabbage!  Enjoy lashings of this with your Christmas roast!

  1. Shred cabbage finely and bring to the simmer with the remaining ingredients.
  2. Continue to cook until the liquid starts to reduce and be-
    gins to stick to the cabbage slightly.
